I love it when my kids are genuinely happy in photos – their smiles just light up the frame! And let's face it, no fancy camera tricks can replace the authenticity of a child's genuine joy. So, when we're at your family photoshoot, my focus is ensuring the kids are having a blast – that's the secret sauce for great shots! In Hampshire, we're spoiled for choice with beautiful outdoor spots, from windswept beaches to lush green fields. I've got some suggestions, but I'm always up for exploring new places you have in mind.
Regardless of the location, my aim is to capture your family as you truly are – those breathless giggles, grassy cuddles, sandy feet, and tousled hair. Forget posed smiles at the camera; I want photos brimming with life, movement, and, most importantly, love.

Q: I AM A LITTLE BIT CAMERA SHY, IS THAT OK?
A: You are not the only one! Most of my clients are also camera shy but they understand the importance of having photos as memories. I’ve worked with women, families, couples and I’m great at putting people at ease. Let’s just have fun together, get to know each other, and go through the photoshoot as friends. Before long you’ll forget I’ve got a camera, and I’ll capture you as your most relaxed self.
Q: I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WEAR, CAN YOU HELP!?
A: I have a client wardrobe for maternity and newborn sessions, and will send you a prep. guide and style guide as soon as you book. And not only will this ensure you get the best photos, it’ll mean you can completely relax on the day, enjoy the experience, and be present in the moment.
Q: Do you travel?
A: Yes! I am based in Hampshire and most of the locations I use for photoshoots, outdoor and indoor, are in the Portsmouth/Southampton area.
Q: HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?
A: For maternity photoshoot I recommend booking your session as soon as you know you are expecting and the photoshoot will take place around 30-32 weeks. For newborn photoshoots, I'll pencil your due date in my diary making sure I have plenty of availability. When baby is born you just need to drop me a quick text and your photoshoot can take place anytime after you are back home.
Q: I FORGOT TO BOOK MY NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT, IS MY BABY TOO OLD?
A: For maternity photoshoot I recommend booking your session as soon as you know you are expecting and the photoshoot will take place around 30-32 weeks. For newborn photoshoots, I'll pencil your due date in my diary making sure I have plenty of availability. When baby is born you just need to drop me a quick text and your photoshoot can take place anytime after you are back home.
Q: WHAT IF MY KIDS "MISBEHAVE"?
A: Absolutely no worries! Kids being kids is completely normal, and I'm well-prepared to handle various behaviours. I've worked with many families and I am a mum of two! I approach family photography with patience and flexibility, allowing space for genuine moments to unfold. If your kids are a bit spirited, we can turn their energy into fun and candid shots. The goal is to capture your family authentically, and a bit of spontaneity often adds charm to the photos. Rest assured, I've had experience with all kinds of scenarios, and my focus is on creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.
